Wow,this is beautiful. How many square feet is it?

fireant 13, it's actually quite a large peninsula -- about 140 feet long and in some places 30 feet deep. The azaleas in the background are part of the front yard border. I tried to plant it more intensely near the driveway entrance and gradually look more natural closer to the wooded buffer between our house and the neighbor's house. But I still "fiddle" with it each year. Last year I added ferns and now I'm pondering how to get color after the astilbes and sweetspire are finished blooming. I thought it was a pretty large space. I want to make the back portion of my back yard a mini woodland, but the space is much smaller than yours. It's more like 25 feet deep and 80 feet wide. I really like the azaleas, but I am a long way from having enough shade for ferns. I've just started with trees.

Quite a task to landscape a woodsy area such as that. I really like what has been done. The azaleas look very much at home and the deer sculptures are something I need to look for.
