Our dilemma: we had two stone rams' heads from an eight-foot glass top dining table that would not fit into our new house. Not wanting to give them up, we used them to create a low volume fountain and small pond to attract birds. The plants are California natives and after three years have filled the space in nicely: we had to remove one salvia that grew too large and was covering other plants. The birds love it, and we can watch them from the kitchen window. |
